Nell Wiegand Legacy Society
For the Gainesville community, the legacy of Nell Whelchel Wiegand is well known. She was dedicated to her community and Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS) and served in many volunteer roles with the system, including founding chair of NGHS Foundation. Because of her extraordinary philanthropy and commitment to service, NGHS Foundation is pleased to honor Nell through the Nell Wiegand Legacy Society. Following in Nell’s footsteps, this important society—composed of individuals that pledge support to NGHS through planned giving—plays a critical role in the future of our community. The Foundation is excited to recognize and honor these individuals for creating their own legacies through a variety of exclusive opportunities and system updates with leaders each year.
